Lodestar Extrait de Parfum 50ml

Saffron, rose, and resin — dense from the first spray.

Lodestar doesn't have much of an opening. Saffron and geranium flare briefly, then rose and jasmine arrive already wrapped in oud, amber and patchouli. Vanilla and sandalwood soften the base without lightening it. Opulent in the old sense of the word: layered, heavy, slow to unfold.

Not an easy fragrance, and not meant to be. It rewards patience and punishes overapplication.
